At Al-Gar FCU we can meet all your auto lending needs.  From new to used cars, trucks, SUVs, and motorcycles we have the loan for you.  Check out our low rates and loan terms.  Set your loan up on payroll deduction or direct deposit and you won't need to worry about mailing payments or getting to the credit union.

Also, be sure to take advantage of our low cost Guaranteed Asset Protection known as GAP.  GAP covers the "gap" between what you owe on your auto loan and the amount your auto insurance will cover, in the event that your vehicle is stolen and not recovered, or declared a total loss from an accident and can't be repaired.  These are unfortunate events that do happen, and GAP may save you thousands of dollars if you choose to be protected.  Ask for GAP on your next auto loan.

Share Secured Loans

Don't want to use the money in your savings? No problem with a share secured loan you borrow against the money you have in savings at a low interest rate, and we will continue to pay you interest on your savings account.  Funds will be frozen in the savings for the same amount as your loan balance.  No need to deplete your savings when you can just borrow against it.

Loan Protection

No need to worry about making payments on your loans when you are off due to medical reasons.  Al-Gar FCU offers a payment protection that includes Disability and Life Insurance on your loans for a low cost monthly payment.

Share Savings Account

This account is your primary Credit Union account.  It entitles you to many membership benefits.  The initial minimum deposit of $5.00 will earn dividends from the day of deposit to the day of withdrawal.  As an added benefit to each eligible account, the Credit Union provides Life Savings Insurance on each account at no extra cost to the member.  For example:  A member in good health, at age 50 deposits $4000.  As long as that money stays on deposit, the Credit Union provides up to $4,000 of life savings insurance to that members beneficiary. 

Saver-Saurus Account

If you are under the age of 13, join our Saver-Saurus Account.  Al-Gar FCU will even contribute the initial deposit of $5.00 to get you started. Open an account and receive your own special Saver-Saurus Passbook that will help you keep track of all your savings.

VIP Gold Club

As you reach the golden years we especially value your business, anyone 55 years old and older that has direct deposit of a retirement check is eligible for membership in our VIP Gold Club.  As a member of the VIP Gold Club you will receive $55.00 worth of services a year free of charge.  Services like check printing charges, money order fees, photo copies, traveler check fees, and etc can all be applied toward your free VIP Services.

Special Club Account

Our club accounts provide savings for Christmas, vacation, or other expenses.  No minimum contribution.  No required deposit schedule.   Withdraw the funds when you need them.

Share Draft Checking Account

Our share draft checking account will save you money.  It has no minimum balance requirements, no limit to the number of checks you can write each month, no per items fee, no monthly service charge.  And we offer overdraft protection from available savings account balance, overdraft advance, a monthly statement, free ATM card, free VISA check card, toll free phone banking, and you can order your checks online.

Once you have an Al-Gar FCU checking account, take advantage of our ATM/VISA Check Card.  This card looks like a credit card, but works like a check.  Use it to purchase gas, groceries and other items anywhere VISA is accepted.  You can also use it to get cash at the ATMs.  

Money Market Account

Earn dividends on our Money Market checking account.  A minimum deposit and balance of $2,500 is required to keep the account open.  It pays competitive dividends monthly and statements are monthly. However, there is a maximum of 3 withdrawals or transfers per month.

Share Certificates

Make your money work for you by investing in a Share Certificate. The Credit Union offers share certificates with a minimum deposit of $500.  Terms are available from 6 months to 36 months.  Dividends are paid monthly.  There is a penalty for early withdraw.

Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA)

An Individual Retirement Account offers you one of the best ways to save for your future.  Unlike most investments, depending on the IRA you choose, contributions may be tax deductible and may grow either tax deferred or tax free.  Open the account with a small deposit and add any amount up to the total allowable annual contribution at any time during the year.  The Credit Union offers Traditional IRA's, Roth IRA's and Coverdell Educational IRA's.
